Protesters took to the streets of downtown Los Angeles as part of the nation-wide ‘March for Truth’, demanding an independent investigation into the alleged collusion between Russia and President Trump’s 2016 campaign.
There was a lot of enthusiasm among the marchers, but overall, the energy of the crowd was more subdued than prior marches. I have to think that the appointment of Robert Mueller as a special counsel for the Russia investigation lowered the stakes and turnout of the march considerably.
Still, it was great see the protest movement live on…
Thank you, Peter, for this amazing body of beautiful work. While it’s unfortunate that our country is so divided, the silver lining — for me at least — is that Trump is galvanizing our nation to stand for something better than this. Your photos are museum quality — and in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if one day soon we see them in an exhibit. Thank you for letting us have an early walk through the halls of your digital museum, here on your blog.
Too kind Jen! I agree with you that Trump’s greatest gift might be the giant civics lesson he is inadvertently giving the country.
